This is a discussion about WinTv & Remote Control Under Win2k in the Windows Hardware category; Has anyone manage to make this thing work? The remote control wont work to start the application for WinTv I've seen that post before but noone answered. Any help would be appreciated Thanx Dirty Mind - Clean Soul.

I figured it out!!!!
I actually found a small blurb on hauppauges faq relating to this problem. What they say to do is copy the two shortcuts (WinTV2000 and WinTV32) that get placed on your desktop during the install process to the start menu (on the actuall start menu, not in programs folder or anything) restart and what do u know!!! The tv button on the remote starts wintv. Dont ask me how this fixes the prob, it just does.
