This is a discussion about WinTV XP Driver in the Windows Hardware category; i tried to install the latest wdm driver for WinTV (wdm327_20021. exe) and now it won't work i even tried to uninstall it and revert back to the old driver and still doesn't work. when i tried to install the new driver, it asked to reboot, i did, then upon restart, it said xp detected a new hardware and to install ...
i tried to install the latest wdm driver for WinTV (wdm327_20021.exe) and now it won't work i even tried to uninstall it and revert back to the old driver and still doesn't work.
when i tried to install the new driver, it asked to reboot, i did, then upon restart, it said xp detected a new hardware and to install the driver, i did, then it says at the end 'invalid data'

well, got it working again, did a re-install and it's working now
ah heck I have the exact error problems and Ive uninstalled a bunch of times and reinstalled but to no success.I get the exact errors you listed and have tried everything from the site of wintv and got the latest drivers too.I am so frustrated that if anybody can help me get this thing working I would be so grateful. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
