WinXP 2465 and "Smart Tags"

This is a discussion about WinXP 2465 and "Smart Tags" in the Windows Hardware category; Has anyone else noticed in the latest build of WinXP/IE that when ever Microsoft it displays crap about MS like a link to thier page, stock info and lots of other crap. Now it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't point out this feature but it puts an annoying purple dotted line under that word.

Now it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't point out this feature but it puts an annoying purple dotted line under that word. Luckily you can turn it off in the advanced options under Smart Tags. But just got me thinking about what they are going to do in the future to point them selves out.

its not just microsoft that comes up but other companies too. I find the feature to be helpful and annoying too, i havent come up with a final judgement on it yet.

Not just comapnies.... Sports teams too... Like San Antonio Spurs or Los Angeles Lakers.... Other things come up too, like actors, places, etc.... It's like Encarta has invaded our OS.... I don't dislike it, but want more customizable features.....
