wordperfect is a legacy from back in the ibm "pc" era
remember the one with no hard drives and 1 or 2 5in floppies and dos 1.0?

Hehe well I have office 2000 also, I just though and read reviews that wordperfect 2002 was better
they are basically the same program.
wordperfect is easier to use because it doesnt have all the fancy schmancy
gizmos like word. but im not a secretary. lol
most companies wont accept docs from wordperfect.

openoffice.org is free and compatible with Microsoft Office documents. I made the switch.
