XP 2505 & HPT370 Problem
This is a discussion about XP 2505 & HPT370 Problem in the Windows Software category; Hi! I have just installed XP RC1 on MB Abit BE6-2v2 with HPT370 Raid. My problem is that when I connect my WD 20GB disk to the HTP370 ATA 100 controller the system has very poor performance. System works better only with disk on standard IDE UDMA33.

My problem is that when I connect my WD 20GB disk to the HTP370 ATA 100 controller the system has very poor performance.
System works better only with disk on standard IDE UDMA33.
In Windows 2000 Pro everything works perfect when the disk is connected to the HPT controller....
Maybe the drivers for W2k are not so good for XP.
Please any suggestions.

use the 1.03 drivers from highpoint or abit and u will be all set
