XP Pro(2600)+ 3dfx 3000 PCI= Black Screen of Doom! (help)

This is a discussion about XP Pro(2600)+ 3dfx 3000 PCI= Black Screen of Doom! (help) in the Windows Hardware category; System, PIII 750, 386Mb SDRAM, PCI Voodoo 3000, I can not get this thing working correctly, installed HoE driver set and it fails, it reboots, goes through to the login screen and fails, the screen blacks out and nothing happens any body help?
