my isp is BMI.. no tweaks are done.. just installed winxp home or pro.
 
i installed windows xp home or pro on my computer with latest drivers
when i leave my computer up for more then 15 hours i can't get on the internet.. no websites work ....can't even ping my isp or any website
 
i think is my motherboard cause its discounnted...one
 
help!

What have you tried, as in, an attempt to fix it? You have tried something to fix it right? All I can say is that it doesn't sound like a mobo issue with your front side bus running at 100MHz. If you had bumped it up to 133MHz, there might be a problem, but the way it stands from the info, it doesn't look like the m/b is bad.

My guess is something to do with power management maybe. After you come back, can you ping any sites, or do you have no connectivity at all?
 
Sometimes hardware goes to sleep, but does not "wake up" w/out a cold boot.

nothing to do with power management, i have it set to always/on
everything is set to never
hiberate is off too

my computer is now working fine in winxp pro corp msdn
 
weird..i did some 3dspotlight tweaks on my modem...no i leave it up 24/7 and set my internet when i need it
