I guess my question would be how do you set it up? Where do you enter the domain information?

In the System Properties (Acessed through either right-clicking My Computer and selecting properties, through the Control Panel or by pressing Win+Pause/Break) under Computer Name I would imagine.

u have a box with xp on it and want to join a nt domain?
 
system properties/computer name
click the "change" button at the bottom and follow the prompts
(i think thats what your asking)

In case no one had said so, only XP Professional will connect to a domain controller, FYI.

go to start-programs-administrative tools-server manager and add your computer from there. it works 100%.
