XP DVD/Hollywood+ Problems

I am having trouble getting my DVD player to work in Windows XP. When I insert a disc, it will recognize the disc and display the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders correctly. However, these folders come up as empty in explorer.

I am having trouble getting my DVD player to work in Windows XP. When I insert a disc, it will recognize the disc and display the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders correctly. However, these folders come up as empty in explorer. Additionally, RealMagic DVD Station recognizes the disc at first, and then reverts to the NO DISC FOUND message. It seems that both of these problems are probably the same thing.

ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks much!

Edit: My DVD drive is a Pioneer DVD-103S 6X Slot loading drive. I have had no problems with it in any other OS.

um... that's strange. I have both the hollywood plus and the 103S..
and i don't have the problem that you are having..

I remembered that when i inserted my first DVD into my fresh installed WinXP, it will popup a message asking me what to do with it. And i picked the option to open it with Realmagic.
Then i never have that popup again when i play a DVD movie.

Try to disable the DVD autorun in explorer, see if it will do any better.
