This is a discussion about XP Home games in the Windows Games category; ;( As I am a complete pleb with computers, How do I in stall Zork nemesis, using the compatibility wizard or does it know. I realise its a dumb question but I dont want to mess up my system(again) as I already did that with something else.

install the game, find the exe. file to the game (i.e where you installed it) right click on it, select properties and you should see a compatability option, select it and choose which operating system you want to try, then run the game.
