I am running XP (unfortunately) and tried to install a Belkin router. It appeared to install, bet when I tried to manually configure the router (not the computer) I found all 4 of my network connections gone. I reloaded XP as I know it is full of bugs, but I still show no network connections. I have the built-in Dell wired and wireless connections, a firewire connection, and a USB netgear wireless adapter. None of these show up. The hardware shows up on the device manager, but since I can't find them on the network connections page, thae are not usable. I cannot connect to anything even though the lights on the wired connection show it to be operating. Any ideas?

What model number router are you using?

What ISP are you using and what type connection, DSL, Broadband or Fios?

Do you have access to another computer with an Internet connection in order to access Belkin's support page, which is very good?
