XP OS?2 16 bit application support missing?

This is a discussion about XP OS?2 16 bit application support missing? in the Everything New Technology category; I have been running old OS/2 16bit apps under Windows NT 3. 5/4. 0/2000 for several years know. I can no longer run them under XP Pto or Home edition. I have seen conflicting info in publications and from MS concerning OS/2 support for XP (there was never any 32bit support anyway).

I have been running old OS/2 16bit apps under Windows NT 3.5/4.0/2000 for several years know. I can no longer run them under XP Pto or Home edition. I have seen conflicting info in publications and from MS concerning OS/2 support for XP (there was never any 32bit support anyway). Also, the OS2LIBPATH is missing (as well as the folder \windows\system32\os2\dll that it used to reference). Is there a way to get OS/2 16bit apps to run under XP?

if the dlls and paths exist in 2k why not copy them off of a 2k install into the same locations in xp then if there are some reg settings try to export them from 2k and inport them to xp
hope this helps
