XP RC2, nvidia detonator gf3 refreshrates

This is a discussion about XP RC2, nvidia detonator gf3 refreshrates in the Windows Hardware category; Since the nvidia refreshrate fix program doesn´t work with XP is there any way of manually manipulate the refreshrates through the registry?

You can get the refresh rate program to work as long as you run it in Win 2000 compat mode.

You can also run power strip, but I just ran the refresh rate fix exe with win2k comp.

why don't you just edit your nv4_disp.inf file, do a search for it somewhere, you'll find out what i mean.

I would have done that if nothing else worked, but since the nvrefreshfix installed fine and all games run at good refreshrates all is good. I also manipulated the registry and took out those unwanted refreshrates, and this way also works good I think.
