X-Wing Alliance: No targeting box

This is a discussion about X-Wing Alliance: No targeting box in the Windows Games category; Hi, I installed X-wing alliance on an XP Pro with SP1 and everything works okay except that there is no targeting box for any targeted object. Anyone know how this can be fixed? Thanks in advance.

Have you applied the latest patch?
 
Also, make sure your video drivers are the most recent version.

Yup, I've installed the 2.02 patch and the video drivers are the latest available for my card.
