Hello, I've got a big problem with running an old Lucas Arts game called Yoda Stories on Windows XP Professional with SP2.

Firstly the game didn't want to start and it gave an error 0x000005. I found a solution to this, from your forums, and other source - I did as it said, and replaced old wavemix32.dll and .ini with new ones.

Also in the yodesk.exe properties tab I've selected every option + set Windows 95 compatibility.

Only one thing changed - the error 0x000005 disappeared and the game supposedly started working. The screen resolution and colors changed. But only for a second. The screen blinks black and exits to desktop.

Any ideas why?

I would be very grateful for any info. This game is awsome, so it's obvious that many people would like to play it on XP.

All I've ever had to do to play Yoda Stories on 2000/XP/2003/Vista is to replace the wavemix32.dll file with an updated version
