The NPCs also react to the way you behave, and become more paranoid as the game goes on...if they do it right, this could be the horror game of the century!
OK, Clive Barker's game was atmospheric, but it just didn't do it for me - it still seemed as though you were "on rails"...?
As far as I'm concerned, the most atmospheric game episode was RTCW, the level in the cathedral basement, where the zombies just kept appearing from the fog (it loses something in the translation from screen to text!)
