Zork Nemesis

Hello all, I just looked through every page here, and saw nothing on it. The game installs fine, but I get 'Insert CD I' error when I try to play, and CD I is in the drive! Switching CD's does nothing, nor does taking out CD I and reinserting it.

Hello all,
I just looked through every page here, and saw nothing on it. The game installs fine, but I get 'Insert CD I' error when I try to play, and CD I is in the drive! Switching CD's does nothing, nor does taking out CD I and reinserting it. Just a frozen screen with a busy cursor and error message. I've tried changing CD-ROM letters, turning off and on Auto Play, and banging on it with a hammer.

I got the three disk Nemesis to play under Win2k a while back.

I could get about 1/3 through the game, and it would crash at this one spot every time.

If you use Winme/98 to get past that part, the rest of the game plays fine.

So you have a device or disk conflict...
