Hi, is it possible to create a DVD with WinXP Pro, SP2, Office 2003, WinRar, and other software that I usualy install every time when I reinstall windows. It would be nice to not input CD Key every time, so the software can automaticly register itself.

P4 fan, quiet but cools well????

Had my p4 2. 8 HT working great, last few days fan been getting louder. Checked my PCU temp, its 50C in bios, so must be alot higher underload. Can some one suggest a quiet yet effective fan? Or should i just replace with another intel fan?.

hey, i just built my new pc and i was planning on using my old Gateway system disk with WinME on it for my OS. well i just found out when i put it in that it will not work with non-Gateway computers.

Epson 1640SU Photo scanner

Just reformatted HD, installed Win XP pro and then SP2. I can't get the 1640SU scanner to function. All files seem to be in place. When I try to access the scanner I get Could not open the TWAIN source.

Windoctor that has been around for Years in Most Versions of Norton System Works and Norton Utilities is a Very Efficient Program. I wanted to Install it on it's Own, without all the other unecessary stuff that comes with the main program.

ram disk good for page file?

I have 768mb of ram and running xp. would it be good if I moved the page file to a ram disk? say, form a 100mb ramdisk and use 90mb for the page and 10mb for my temp directories. . ? or is 768 not enough ram to have a ram disk? from what I've read, a ram disk page file would be faster than a separate page partition.

Windows XP Folder Behavior Messed Up

I recently installed this registry tweak that allowed me to print a directory's file listing right from Explorer. However, now my default folder behavior is incorrect. When I double click my computer, it opens up Explorer all ready to go at My Computer.
