i need help installing a car amplifire to my comp

well guys i need a little help with something. i have a Car JBL subwoofer 1100W and 2 car speaker 350W each, and A car JBL amplifier wich was installed on my car and now its at my home. . (they are already in boxes and everything) and i wanna hook it to my laptop.

Can't change IRQs in XP

I just built my new box ealier this month, and the thing purs like a kitten. . . kind of. The start up, installation, shutdown and most everything is just amazing. Games play great, until the system randomly freezes.

Changed themes and can't see

What's the name for the blinking line that locates where your typing? I can't see it in word and some other programs since I changed my theme colors. Since I don't know what it's called I can't find any info.

Screen resolution changes on startup

I have a 1280x800 resolution laptop. Im not sure if im infected with a virus but on startup, on most occasions i find that my screen resolution has changed to 1024X768. I cant even change it back because my display properties>settings shows only the 800X600 and the 1024x768 options.

What should I do with temp files?

OS is WinXP Home. How should the temporary files found at <Root folder>\Documents & Settings\<My Name>\Local Settings\Temp be managed? The subfolder of this is Temporary Internet Files and these are all cookies that I'd like to retain.

Preventing system shutsdown on overheat

Ive got an Intel motherboard. everytime i use my laptop for maybe games or other heavy processsing tasks my system heats up and eventually shuts down. ive heard this is a common feature with Intel but is terribly annoying.

Hi! On looking at my System Info, I noticed in the Cache list of objects, that all program files, were showing 'Damaged'. Not being technicaly minded I dont know what to do or NOT to do. My computer is working very well, so is it worth bothering about or just leave well alone.

First of all, hello guys. I (as many others before me) got bored of all the extra features that WinXP came with and decided to install a clean tweaked version. The only problem right now is that I cannot figure out how to add a greek language pack.

So does anybody have any experience with using the /3GB switch with Windows 2000 Pro ?!? I recently added a pair of matching 1GB memory modules to my file server running just Win 2K Pro and not any of the server flavors.

background display frozen/ locked? please help....

I recently noticed that my desktop display feature appears to be locked. I'm able to get a wallpaper from online if i want, but cannot use any other options i. e browsing for pics within my pictures or selecting from the choices of already included desktop backgrounds.

This has been an ongoing problem that is getting very annoying. My goal is very simple: Print the first page of a letter from Tray 3 (coversheet) and print all other pages from Tray 2. This is something that I could pay a monkey with a diaper to do.
