every 10 or so mins i have 2 or more explorer. exe running. i have to taskmanager the extra ones to get windows to open. and 5-10 mins later i will jhave 1-4 running. and is there a way to keep only one running.

I am still getting that WORK_THREAD_RETURNED_AT_BAD_IRQL error and it's happening every few minutes it seems now. I had it do it again while my desktop was loading. SO. . . if I can't find the problem via debugging, I will troubleshoot services and device drivers.

Here's the scoop. 2 nt 4 machines, pdc and bdc. A windows 2000 member file server. \\2k\data\SMITH The data folder has share permission of everyone full control, and ntfs permission of the SMITH directory has full control for SMITH and domain admins.

Whenever i click on a link in Outlook it opens the page in an IE window that is already open! which is a pain as i am generally viewing many pages at once! and am still looking at that page! Is it possible to make it open in a brnad new window each time? There must be a setting somewhere!!!! im on XP thanks

How to read DVD-Ram under W2K?

Hi, does someone know how to read a DVD-Ram recorded by a Panasonic standalone recorder under Windows 2000? It`s no problem under Windows XP, even using explorer, but a no go under W2K. Any help welcome.
