How to tell when you installed.

Where do you go to find out the date of your windows 2k install? I install windows on dozens of computers a week and need to find out when I did an install on a particular box, the exact date. Thanks in advance.

How to host software on a Windows 2000 Server Domain

This is one for the experts in Nt/2k System Administration. If my understanding is correct, you can install a peice of software on a windows 2000 server, and make that software available for all workstations that connect to that server.

this has probably been asked a thousand times but im new to the site so i dont know, but im having poor graphics performance when im playing oni on windows xp it plays a frame per 6-7 seconds is there anything i can do? thanks for any help.

I want to replace the main drive on my pc. It's quite old PII 300 with 256mb ram. I have a aha-2940 scsi card. In the manual it supports drives up to 8gb. I wish to install a 40 gb hard drive. hey all. . . i recently added more ram and now i have 512MB of ram. i disabled the page file and everything was fine until one day i played a 3D game and there was a virtual memory problem. . i then turned the page file back on.

Windows XP Display Control Panel Messed Up

I can't click the Desktop tab, under the Display Control Panel item. It just crashes to the desktop, complaining that it can't run a DLL as an APP. So I have no clue as to fix this. The only thing I installed was Service Pack 1a.

windows xp and sound problems.......

games and mp3 playback work fine. The. wav sounds dont work. Not sure why but it just started and i havent installed or uninstalled anything. I did try to reinstall the audio drivers but that didnt help.

Windows XP and search......

when i do the search from the start menu, it doesnt search the whole drive even tho i have it set to. It wont search thru certain folders(like the windows folder)to find sumthing im looking for. If i know for certain that its in the windows folder i will put in C:\Windows instead of just C:\ and it will find the file.

win 2k, 66% on loadup?

One of my pc's is running win2k, it is just a personal pc amd 2200 512ddr etc. when 2k is loading it has recently got to about 66% of the blue bar that goes across and stays there for a bit and then a min or so later it continues on its journey.
