HP Scanjet 4100C compatibility?

I looked on the Microsoft website for XP compatibility for this scanner, with no luck. I'm thinking since it isn't showing it isn't compatible? The scanner was originally used on a w98 PC. When trying to load the software, it said it couldn't be used with WXP.

Missing HD space

Hello I have a really frustrating problem I cant fix. Spec: Xp Home SP1, 20gb HD P3 Fujitsu Seimens Laptop. 386 ram. I have a problem with missing HD space. I have approx 9 gb not showing up on my c drive.

SVCHOST.EXE duplicate loading, eating memory.

I can't figure out why Windows keeps loading SVCHOST. EXE five times at startup. Checking other forums i've had a couple people suggest a service pack update from Windows would fix the problem, but I installed all the updates and it hasn't changed.

intermittent freezing - win2k

Been a while since I came 'round here. . . . OK, recently replaced my aging P3-500 with a new system (AXP2500+, Abit NF7-S, 512MB HyperX, GF3Ti200). It's all well and good, except that it randomly freezes.

How to extract a file from W2K CD?

Shame on me! I have forgotten how to extract a file that I need from \I386\LANG\ folder on the W2KS CD!. It is a TTF file but it has the extention. TT_ on the CD. Could someone help me with this- I have done this so many times about a year back- but now.

Help Needed - Printing Problem

Ok here is the run down. I have a fellow employee who went to print from her e-mail client today and the left side of the print out was cutoff by 3 chars. It is also happening when printing from a website.

AutoComplete how do you turn this thing off I dont mean Internet Options and turn it off, is there is their a registry key that will kill it. Its a pain that it keeps asking me to turn it back on, any help will be greatfull.

i am downloading a variaty of themes and stuff from the web but i can only have two download windows running at once? any idea y? when i try to download a third it waits until one of the others is complete? im using xp pro and ie thanks
