RAID 1 BOOT PROBLEM

We have a RAID 1 (MIRROR) using the INTEL SE7505VB2 motherboard and INTEL software SATARaid 1. 0. 0. 19 on the Boot Device of our server running Windows 2000 Service Pack 4. While doing internal maintainence, the power cable to SATA Drive 0 came out.

Corrupted file??

i recently got my hands on fifa 2004 when i started installing it, the cd-rom drive could not read a file thus i had to terminate the installation. But after that my system would not boot normally i keeps loading after the applying personal settings screen.

Specify alternate source path for XP boot floppies?

Got myself in a bit of a fix. . . I was trying to create an entry on my bootloader menu to run XP setup from in case I needed to use the repair option (as the XP CD I use came from the university's IT and support unit, and once I installed, I had to return it).

please help me with this death screen that appears everytime i boot up to my desktop! numbers then a KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED then numbers after that memory bump complete please consult. . . . . .

hi, when i tried to connect to a share folder on a windows 2000 system using \\computername\sharename, it says The reference account is currently locked out and cannot be logged on to. i am able to ping the computername anyone where could be wrong? thanks.

w2K Hardware configuration problem - Help needed!

I am facing the following issue with a w2K Server with Abit KT7A-RAID mother board. The board has two I/O RAID ports controlled by High Point HPT370 chipset and two normal IDE ports. I installed W2KS on a 120GB HD after connecting it to the normal IDE port.

Unable To Create Virtual Memory Page File on Win XP Pro SP1

When installing Windows XP Pro SP1 on a PC with a SCSI disk, I've always had disconnect the ATA disks because for some reason Windows always decides to install the boot files on the ATA disk, even when I specify that I want Windows installed in the SCSI disk.

Windows XP and Me Network

Hello everyone, I have just set up a network with one machine running XP and the other ME. However I can share resource on the ME machine but when I try accessing a shared drive located on XP machine I get a “please enter password” box appear.

Can boot to Linux but not W2k on dual OS system

My HD has both Linux and W2k on it. During the boot process, the system halts, asking me to choose the operating system I wish to use. When I boot to Linux, no problem. I am able to see files, folders and access all devices.

Regedit Command Line Switches

Can anyone tell me all the different command line switches for regedit? On a contract I had worked on we used to use a switch with regedit to find and replace entries in the registry and I cannot remember the switch.

Language Bar Gone Mad! Help!

I'm using Windows XP Professional (SP1) with 3 languages (English, Hebrew, Hungarian). Lately the language bar hasn't been functioning correctly. The language selection is stuck, meaning that even if I click the language bar and change the language, it would still stay on the default one (EN).

cry Hi Guys i was wondering if their is a way around this login problem. Rebuilt a PC to Win 2k for a friend ,my missus dropped it off plugs it in boots up fine but she decided to delete the password now she cannot get back in, anyway around this help appreciated i don't want to rebuild it again.

Debugger problem

For some reason since yesterday when a program crashed and I pressed the end task button the program would not close because it was apparently been debugged. Since before yesterday the program would just close and I could open it again and carry on, it's rather annoying now.

New hard disc won't boot

Hi! I have a weird problem. My new hard disc won't boot. . . I even returned it to the store. They tested it and said it was ok. Hardware: ECS K7S5A motherboard 500 MB RAM Seagate 120 GB (new hd) IBM Deskstar (old hd) nVidia geforce2 mmx 400 SB PCI 128 I tried installing Windows XP Pro on a single 120 gb partition.
