I have Adobe 6 Pro, every time I attempt to convert a Microsoft Word 2000 file into an Adobe. pdf I get this message; the following error has occurred while printing: File not found : pdfmword. dll Anyone have a solution? Thanks.

Hi. A friend of mine gave me his laptop since something odd has happened: There was Windows XP on the Laptop (with SP1). After install of SP2 some programs would not run correctly (obviously Office and some financial Programs for Tax calculation etc).

Problems with Start menu in Home XP

Regards from Spain. A few days ago, my XP stopped loading the Start menu (wii load up to the background image) and gave me an error message: explorer. exe cannot load due to corrupt browseui. dll. I then downloaded a browseui.

i had a problem with windows 2000 and had to do a clean reinstall so i pretty much lost all my old settings and anything else that was in the registry. i have a backup file of everything, but i dont want to use it because it'll restore the messed up settings.

Hi Every one, When i am taking a jdisk report i m seeing that my c: drive is full and recycler is occupying 5 gb of the folder. I just want to know how to delete the data in the recycler folder or is it unsafe to remove the data present in the recycler folder.

Hi, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on a little problem that I am experiencing. I have just installed XP Pro and have found the domain being SUPREME, no worries there. I have been able to map a network drive to the server logging on as Administrator to the local machine.

How to close open files on Win2K

I'm administering a Windows 2000 server used as Terminal Server. Some 20+ people are working on that box so the easy way to fix my problem, a reboot, is not possible during working hours. The problem is, there's a couple of files locked (open) by users locally (not over network connection) which I need to delete.

"RECYCLER" Folder created on new partition. Why?

I deleted a 200gb partition and re-created & formatted it. It then had a RECYCLER folder on it. This is not my primary drive in the system, so I checked the other drives and partitions in the system and they do not have the folder.

Kind of a silly question, but is there any way to get windowsXP to recognize different font options for the command prompt? I have a few other FON and TTF files installed (some of which support the DOS codepage), but the only options seem to be Raster Fonts and Lucida Console.

NT Install problem on DELL Dimension 3000

Moving to new hardware from 4.0 to 2003

I've been put in charge of moving a PDC that houses a few apps and 10 users, and an exchange server also running 4. 0 to two new servers running 2003. The new app server will be running 2003 SBS and the new exchange / file / print server will be running 2003 standard.

Weird Computer freezing problems

Im Running windows 2000 pro with sp4 and all upadates. The problem is my computer sometimes ill just be doing nothing and bamn!!, froze. The mouse wont move, and ctrl+alt+del, does nothing, i have to hard boot.

Here is a solution that i have: I finally managed to install the DrectX 9. 0c. I of course tried uninstalling the DirectX 9. 0b, then installing the 9. 0c version, but it still skipped the installation part, and said that its already installed but it wasn't.

Hey all. About 2 weeks ago my computer crashed on me and I had to reformat everything and repartition the drives. One of these drives (D) won't reformat. It will start and then stop after about 10% is formatted.

XP Restarts Without Warning

ok. Using the computer and XP decideds to shut down without warning, it just Shuts down. Any ideas y? Spec: AS7333, XP 2100, 512DDR2100, CDRW, DVD, 40GB HD, Radeon VE AGP GC etc, self built system. Any suggestions would be great, cus it is driving my girlfriend up the wall (her system !) Thanks.
