windows xp crashes in safe mode?!?! help plz

hi guys, i'm new to the forum here, but i decided to sign up because i've read many posts here that has helped me in the past. i recently reformatted my pc because it was such a mess, but now everytime i log onto safe mode, the debug/crash screen shows up everytime i open ANY windows explorer window.

Remote Desktops 2003 Add-in: Prevent printer Mapping??

The RDP client software that comes with XP, etc allows you to prevent printer mapping on the machine you're remotely connected to (normally it maps your local printers to that machine). I can't find any such option in the 2003 Resource Kit MMC Snap-in, nor can I find a group policy option to stop this from happening.

RAS dial in to Network, cannot view network

Frustrated here, but maybe it's something obvious i'm overlooking. We have a LAN (Win NT 4. 0) that has RAS dial in service on it. Sales personnel use it to dial into to obtain a dialup internet connection when out on the road.

I'm not new to computers, but im new to actually knowing anything about them, so sorry if this is a stupid question. When i bring up my task manager and i look at the processes, there are 29 processes supposedly being run by me, the user, along with many more system processes.

I have this problem with my computer ( windows XP). EverytimeI try to play a song and I always getting a dialog box that says Bad Direct sound and when I when to the volume control and got a dialog box that says: no active mixer devices available.

Guys! Help me plz..I can't use MS-DOS

I can not run or install any program with MS-DOS at all. Everytime that I click install or run any program it will just show the window of MS-DOS but after 2-3 seconds the window was gone! I really dont know what to do Please help me!!!!!!! Thank You Soooooooo Much PS.

unable to create dial-up connection (xp)

every time i go to set up a new internet connection, this is what goes down: 1) i start the wizard and begin setup by selecting the connect to the internet option. 2) i select set up my connection manually 3) then i get this BS: i have a modem, and it works just fine.

I loaded the program and im trying to load Windows 3. 1 i might have a bad set of. RAR files and a bad BOOTDISK. RAR for win3. 1 but it just isn't working. Anyone know how i can get this to work or where to get a good version of Win3.

Whatever running dos relative application, the CPU usage of ntvdm. exe meet round 90%,the system's response is very slow. Many website said it is ok while you disable the ntvdm. exe in task management.

I've been using Windows XP for a while now but I'm getting increasingly tired of the default Windows XP Style. I am aware that Microsoft offers Silver and Olive Green as alternatives to the blue, but both of them just don't cut it for me.

Slow file copy over network

I have XP Pro and a WIN 2000 server on my home network. (there is one other machine as well). In the past, when I copied a file from my XP machine to the server, the copy time was very fast. Lately, I have noticed that it has slowed on the order of 100 to 200 times or more.

Does anyone use more than one or two languages on WinXP? Well, I'm having trouble with a feature that seems to have improved Windows functionality on a global environment. Or maybe I am wrong. So, please help me if that's the case.
