Dual Boot XP Pro and Server 2003 - Alt Problem

Hi all, I have tried to install XP Pro on a computer that already has 2003 Server. My problem is complicated most likely because of the fact the machine has 2 RAID setups. One RAID 0, which it currently boots off, and a RAID 1 for backup.

I was wondering how to use SSL with FTP so I could enforce usernames and passwords securely, but I found out windows doesn't support this basic feature yet. Soooo. . . I'm downloading a free FTP server that allows it.

Disabling Shutdown/reboot button -> Users AND Enabling for Administators

Hi, I already have installed Terminal Server under Windows 2003 Server and it's actually working well. But i'd like to configure each Domain Users with no option to shutdown/reboot computer, AND ONLY administrators can have its to reboot without enabling/disabled the option in the gpedit.

Windows XP not booting

I'm having trouble getting Windows to complete it's boot. It goes to a black screen after the loading screen with the logo and the scrolling blue(sometimes green) bars. i installed a theme and it came with a bootscreen. when i deleted the bootscreen was still there. my boot. ini contains two lines, one for default XP othe for the Theme boot. if i cut the line for Theme boot, will it make a harm?.

Windows Xp crash

Every so often while I am browsing and working on the internet and sometimes not on-line, my laptop motor will wind up and start to run fast then all of a sudden the compyter jsut shuts off. Sometimes I will get the dreaded blue screen with computer jibberish and other times the whol laptop just shuts off completely.

Slipstream Windows Server 2003 3-in-1 CD

I've got a Windows Server 2003 3-in-1 CD and I'm getting a new server computer. Since Win2k3 SP1 is out, I'd like to slipstream the SP1 into the installation CD. However, the slipstream guides I've seen are for a CD with only 1 edition of Windows.

properties window slow to appear

I got a P4 3. 0 Ghz and 512 Mb ram so thats not the problem. Since a few days the properties window is very slow to appear (30 sec at least) I ran avg , norton , ad-aware, spybot and it's still damn slow.

Windows 2003 Folder Redirection

I've redirected a user's My documents to a folder on the server, and it works great. However, it will not work, for some reason, on the laptop he takes home. I've tried to log on at different computer under his name, and you can see his documents, so I don't know what's wrong with this particular computer.
