When I delete my messages in my inbox they go to my deleted messeges folder. Thats fine. But when I try to delete the message out of my deleted messsages folder it says Some of the items in the deleted items folder could not be deleted.

XP SP2 - General pokiness

I noticed with my computer on XP compared to XP SP2 that SP2 is a lot more pokey (slow) especially with my games. The mouse doesn't respond very well and doesn't adjust too well. Any tips on getting SP2 to run somewhere near as fast as XP and XP SP1 did?.

Hi everybody. I recently started getting this weird problem with my mouse (on the screen), every 2 minutes or so, it tends to instantly change places on the screen, usually a quick jerk to the lower left corner of the screen.

Intel Wireless/PRO connection failure

Tks for yr help in advance. My Acer290 suddenly experience, on startup, a wireless connection failure this morning? It was working fine for 2 years! The properties window of the Wireless/PRO 2100 BC adapter show it is working fine.

need help connecting to the internet

Ok so I've been trying to connect to the internet on my other PC using the same connection as this one. For ages it says Aquiring IP address then it says it has no or limited connectivity. I've tried inputting the IP ect manually but then it says its connected but doesn't actually do anything at all.

Windows XP booting loop

HELP! I was online paying some bills and a storm hit. Usually I shut off immediately but this time the electric went on the first clap of thunder. I went to boot up later and now the computer goes through the checks, recognizes everything and goes to the option of booting in safe mode.

Reformatting hard drive?

Newbie here. I have a Dell 8200, which I have had for a while. It is starting to get slow, and I want to completely erase everything, re-format the hard drive, and re-install Windows XP. I have the Windows XP disk, but have just recently gotten into computers, and have no idea where to begin.

Temporary Internet Folder Gone Gonzo!

Running XP Pro SP2 and all of a sudden my Temp Internet Files folder (Doc&Settings/MyName/LocalSettings/TempInternetFiles) has become seriously bloated - 676MB - but I literally cannot see any of it.
