VISTA and USB Device Recovery from Low Power

I'm seeing an issue with Vista and some wireless USB devices. Upon returning from either standby or hibernate (S3 and S4), the OS tells the BIOS to issue a bus reset. First of all, this breeches Windows Logo Device Requirement Protocol.

vista had better be good because i find that xp is one of the most annoying operationg systems around. trouble is that most games dont work on anything else. if anyone else feels the same way please back me up here.

Using local users and groups in WinXP Home

Hey I'm on Windows XP home and whenever i try to use the local users and groups part of Computer Management it says You cannot use this on winxp home blah blah blah. . . . Is there anyway I can get it to work cos I could really do with it - the most annoying thing is the admins account is always disabled.

hello. I have a Compaq SR1616NX running Windows XP SP2. my problem is that i had a some trojans and viruses on my computer, around May of 2006. I fixed it up with Norton Internet Security and Norton System works, both 2005 edition.

HELP Entry Point not found in GDI32

Running DxDiag, and other applications, get Entry Point not found. The procedure entry point DdEntry1 could not be located in the dynamic link library GDI32. dll Running Windows 2000, SP4, with DirectX9.

Hi everybody , I recently bought new system (self-assembled) having Intel Pentium IV 3. 0 GHZ with Intel original motherboard having Intel 915G chipset and 512 MB of DDR memory. After I have successfully assembled the system I installed Winodws XP Professinal SP2.

Hey all. . just wondering if somebody could help me solve a huge puzzle with my Windows 2000 Pro box. . A little while ago, I came to notice that my 16-bit subsystem (NTVDM) had stopped functioning. The first clue was that none of my old DOS-based games worked at all anymore.

HELP!!! My hotmail will not open
