vista will not boot up anymore

Hello everyone. I have a weird problem. I had XP and Vista installed on different partitions of a SATA2 320Gb Seagate and everything worked great. Also I had a grub boot loader, don't know how I installed it but there it was and I only discovered it now, at the same time my problem appeared.

OK, I'm not so smart! For the first time in many, many years I deleted a registry key without, of course, first backing it up. Now, for the past several months, every time I start my PC I get the pop-up message from Windows telling me to install an update (which I've done repeatedly).

Worked fine until last week or so when I went to use it it wont turn on, nothing, no picture, no lights on LCD; no lights for chg or power. Tried to do basic reset & the static reset (holding the power button for 5 secs) & nothing is working.

windows 2003 SP1 showing incorrect system cache

Hi, If you look at this image ( ) , you'll notice something strange. At least, I think it's strange. What I see is 4 GB of physical RAM, 2. 8 GB of free RAM and 2. 9 GB of this physical is in a system cache.

Windows 7 Login problem, doesn't recognize user

I don't know what has happened, but I cannot login with my User Profile unless I go into safe mode, in normal mode it says logging into windows, but then it says preparing desktop which tells me it will go into a temporary profile.

Windows XP Pro Sp2 cannot boot: drvmain.sdb corrup

My Windows XP Pro sp2 PC is not booting. It is giving the message:C:\WINDOWS\AppPatch\drvmain. sdb is corrupted or missing. Safe mode is also giving the same message. I tried recovery cosole. Ran chkdsk C: /R.

so, I was logged on my admin account, setting stuff in the group policy, basically trying to lock everything down, not realizing that it was actually locking it down for the administrator user's accounts.
