Hello there ! I have been encountering this problem for some time. I am using broadband internet. Recently, whatever I try to download either doesnt start or gets stuck at 75% or after 99%. But the pages are downloaded without any problem.

I am getting an error when I start some web sites that says, Internet explorer has encountered an error. . . . and at the top of the error it says, Error Signature: Appname iexplore. exe Appver 6. 0.

hi all. i need help. my pc( os: windows ME) was infected by a unknown trojan ( my antivirus/anti trojan software was not able to detect it) it disables the regedit and puts in a nooptionsfolder and no customized webview in the registry.

Norton Internet Security 2005 won't install on Win 98

My brother has just purchased NIS 2005 via onine download from Symantec and we are having excessive problems getting it installed. The install currently stops with a message that. . . cannot find the file instopts.

I saw some1 asking something about the sims 2, and I don't know where to ask a problem like mine elsewhere, so sorry about that. . . The problem is, everything works fine, except when i try to build walls, plant trees, it doesn't do anything.

Hello any one can help I had windows Me and it was working fine untill I had a game the needs directx I did install the latest version of directx 9. c and when it finish. I start the game it tell me that you need directx I did check for directX where it must be at Program Files I cant find it as it is not installed ...

God, Major Problems! My better (yeah right) half tried to install a second hard drive that she found in a skip. Unsucessfully. I've gone back to my computer swiched it on and the layout has changed, my programs are gone.

Windows 98SE and RAM limitations?

I am running a dual boot machine for some time now and I recently upgraded to 1 Gig of RAM. This didn't cause any problems for Windows 2000. Everything booted just fine and things are great. When I try to boot into windows 98SE it gives me an error that windows failed to boot please restart your computer.

Sims 2 Problem - loading default neighborhood

Hi, after lots of issues i have installed sims 2 grphics card issues! Now i start the game and select to load the Neigborhood which sims 2 starts hour-glass and music keep going, But it never finishes loading! could XP sp2 be an issue? I have the lastest card drivers load

THE SOLUTION (for me) a. Right-click on the The Sims 2 game and left-click on Properties. You can do this either on the game's shortcut on the desktop or on the game's entry in the Start menu. b.

i have windows me and i remember deleting a partition because the service people on the phone told me to at the time to make my computer work but i think now it deleted my easy cd creator with it. . .

i have gta3. i installed it successfully. when i run it some video like intro appears then the computer HAngs! i tried on my dads pc it worked perfectly fine! i have- p4,256 ram,2 ghz. my dad's pc has lower config.

Ok! my problem seems strage to me. everything was OK. i dunno when but this problem has appeared. whenever i leave my computer alone for a few minutes i. e without working on it, instead of a screensaver coming up the monitor switches of.

Win98SE IRQ issues

Right now I am testing Windows 98 SE on a machine that has proven to be rather problematic since I got it. The Video card and onboard LAN insist on sharing IRQs,and this leads to a problem in wich the monitor goes blank for a moment, it does this a few times and then the entire computer locks up.
