Hello, do anyone knows where I could download OE 4 for an old pc running Windows 95 which doesn't have it installed ? I'd like all the needed files to put them on a cd and install from it. Thank you in advance !!.

Hi every1, im using a voodoo banshee with 3rd party drivers, but still have a voodoo1 in my second pc! Does any1 know if there are better voodoo1 drivers for win9x/me around than the last from 3dfx? IO was searching very long, but could not find anything! Does any1 know a voodoo1 unofficial driver page? KJ3k
Operation Flashpiont and win98 SE???

Here is the prob??? I have installed Operation Flashpiont on my CPU, When I try to run this game I get the operation flashpiont logo then nothing! I am just back to my desktop. I have been to there web site and have made the changes that go with there FAQ section but I still get the same result.

If you are experiencing a slow network while running Windows Me then all you have to do is: install the protocol Internet Connection Sharing in WinME. To do this go into Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Windows Setup Choose to install Internet Connection Setting.

Is there is a way to disable the low disk space notification in windows ME. . like this article in windows 98 posted by Microsoft: there is a trick similar to this one for Windows XP posted by Microsoft: but nothing is there for WinME.

Iv moved to windows2000 pro and its great. . all you users of ME and 98 go get urself windows2000 and forget ME and 98. 2000 runs all my games and just as good as 98 and ME and no crashes at all. - 1.

hi The usb port on my 2 year old dell inspiron 3500 totally fails to operate. . . i have just tried to start using it for the first time (bought a hp cdr). hp and dell have done their best to fix via phone.

For some reason, one of the 98box is screwing up. It can't find the rest of the network but itself although It's able to obtain a lease from the dhcp server (router/switch) but not able to ping it. That's really odd.

hello!!! i am running with win 98 se and i have problems with my cdrom , lg cd-rom crd-8521b , i want autorun discs and shows no icon and it also mess up my files , it shorten the extnasion so windows wont recognize them.

I have an HP keyboard with a volume control turner on the top, which works under ME,2000,XP but not under 98SE. I have tried up the keyboard drivers from the Windows ME drivers and it updates but the control still does not work.

Here's another. . . . I work for a computer rental company occasionally and we have been having problems with our keyboards. After a couple of hours they just stop responding, they just go dead. The only way to get it to work again is to reboot the PC.

Is there a way to run 32 bit network cards in older laptops that only support 16 bit? Someone mentioned that there is a bios setting I could change which may allow this. Thanks. . . .

If you want to play games and you want any semblance of stability then forget ME its CRAP. ME will become corrupted quicker than you can blink an eye. ME is as flaky as dandruf IF you use ME and manage to get 1 week without it hanging and crashing then you are doing exceptionally well.

Win 9x is great - No crashes at all.

Provided you install nothing on top of 9x I mean you can install the latest DirectX, some Games, However you should stop there and go no further. Once you start installing Office2000 Prem ed. IE6, Dreamweaver4, ICQ2000, Netscape?, Latest Virus Scanner of your choice, ZoneAlarm, Overbloated Win Media Player7, ect.
Error accessing registry, EVERY DAMN BOOT!

I get this stupid *** message windows had an error accessing the registry error or something every damn time it boots. I have to let it restore the registry and it restores defaults again! This is pissing me off cause once I install something it isnt there aynmore except the files.

Full IE download for 98?

I need to get this for some people with a 56k modem because Outlook Express got screwed up by their son and this guy doesn't have a way to get his e-mail otherwise. If someone could post the link ASAP, that'd be great.
