XP and 2001 movie: HAL correlation

I have a theory that XP really is evil. Never watched it, but Kubrick's 2001 movie has the evil computer HAL. XP, like 2k, and NT, has the Hardware Abstraction Layer, or HAL. XP is released in the year 2001 with HAL.

ok i am using win2k for the first time! and i was looking for tweaks that can make this thing go faster, can someone lead me in the right direction and i have another question, i have an 80 gig drive, and i split it up in 3 partions, and i was going to duel boot, and leae the 3rd partion for music/games/etc and on ...

this device allows a N64 controller to be used on a PC via USB/HID, in the pics it looks very simple to construct, so i challenge you guys to find a pinout so i can make one, i don't think $30 USD is worth it for an adapter.

2 fathers, and 2 sons went fishing. They all caught exactly 1 fish. They kept all the fish, didn't throw any back, didn't loose any. When they came home there were exactly 3 fish. No one lost any. How can this be?.
