Hello there! I installed Heroes 3 on my PC (basic config, not dual processor or anything), but I get the Send Error Report thingie each time I try to run it (Armageddon's Blade and Sod as well. Please help! Thanks!.
Windows XP Home Shutdown "Error Flag"

When I shut down windows XP Home, an error flag pops up and says The Application Failed to Initialized because windows was shutting down, then, Windows shuts down in an orderly fashion. It is only considered as Annoying in that it does not affect the operation of windows in any way.

Fallout 2 can't run on my Win XP. The compatibility mode is useless. Are there some patches or fixes? Heeeeelp!.

Hi guys. I bought this game (Silver, by Infogrames) years ago. (that's abt the time of win95 and win98) I've installed the game successfully, but nth happened when I lauched the game. The task manager showed that the programme silver.

PLEASE HELP ME! I bought a brand new hp a101w-b strictly to play all of my favorite computer games. I set it up and started installing all of my games, and when I went to play them none of them worked! I called hp, and they couldn't figure it out.

I was reading through some old threads, looking for information on how to play windows 95 games on XP - and Connectix Virtual PC was mentioned, but since then Microsoft have bought the company. I was wondering if anyone knew any other (free) software I could use to play games as the compatibility mode doesn't work!.

i have a copy of police quest swat II and i am not able to install it on XP. when i cick the install button, i get an error that reads, C:/WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXECT. NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft windows applications.

Hi everyone, I've seen a previous thread about this old game, and tried to act on it. I've downloaded dosbox, and tried to install the game and run it on a mounted drive. All I get is a unable to initialize your audio hardware messge in the dosbox window, and then it just sits there with black screen.

Yeah. . . Whenever I run the sutoplay and press the install button, the window closes and the program does nothing, as if I never clicked. I already tried compying and pasting the install. exe file onto the desktop and doing all that compatability stuff, but that didn't work.

Are there any XP2 Home Edition patches for Age of Empires 2? The game keeps causing my system to hang or crash to black and causing all sorts of problems due to not shutting down and booting up properly, seemingly to do with memory address conflicts.

I've been trying to get I'76 to run on WinXP. I'm sure someone has been able to get it to run. If you know how, please tell me. I can get to the in-game menu, but selecting anything causes the game to crash.
