Hi, I purchase Doom 3 yesterday and installed it. It installed correctly. I ran the game and the movies and then the menu came up. But after I clicked on new game then recruit, the loading screen appears.

Mechwarrior 3 campaine mode crashs

I have the v1. 2 patch, and I have tried running it under Win 98, Win 2000, and No compatibility mode, and it still crashs. . . Instant action mode works fine thought. . . Is there any solution? BTW, I am using Windows XP Home Edition.

Has anyone done this or know how to do it? I recently installed the chocobo patch and was able to tick the game and playing in TNT2 mode, the game works fine in the 3D world map mode but when i zone into any place the 2D background becomes black.

I was trying to install HoMM 2 in windows xp, and I had already had to fix the autoexec. nt file so it would actually install, now the setup will load, but before it actually installs, the installshield wizard crashes every time.

Here's the fix for Resident Evil 3 on Windows XP. Verified.

Search your computer for dxdiag and run it. Then go to the sound tab and lower your sound hardware aceleration to basic and try it now (it wont hurt if you set compatibility on the re3. exe file to win98/95).

I know there's nothing wrong with the cd because it's installed on another computer, is this the fault? 7th Guest can't progress

I've been playing 7th guest on my Dell laptop. It's been absolutely fine up until the point when you should be going into the attic. We cannot go in that door. we've solved every puzzle but the hated microscope game and been through every room again.
