I have a one year old VAIO xp SP2 Pentium 4 @3. 39 GHz 1 gb RAM and I cannot get this game to run. Installs fine. Launch then nothing. Task manager indicates app is running. Thanks for the assistance!.

Hello everyone I am aware of how well this website can manage so I'm new but will probably return. I'm having an issue with installing this game (which I hear only takes up about half a gigabyte) When I go to dos or windows 95 install the error says Sorry, you need 748160k more to run install program.

Starcraft Broodwar Campaign Crash Problem

Hello and sorry if this was asked before. I was playing the Broodwar Terran campaign and in the second map, during the mission briefing, the game suddenly crashed and this error appeared. Also, even if I skip the briefing, the game still crashes.

I realise that this is an Nt/98 based game and when trying to install it on XP had an error message. I then tried running it from Windows 95 compatibility mode and the same error message came up, can anyone help please? Would be appreciated.

So the installer for this game wont run on XP. I created a Win98 virtual machine, installed it on that, then copied the files to my host XP machine and the game runs smoothly - even Direct3D accelerated at 800x600.
