Low disk space message driving me nuts!

I partitioned off a remaining 1. 3gig partition from my 100 gig drive to be a dedicated swap file. But, now I constantly get that damn low disk space message! how do I get it to go away for that drive only!?.

What DVD Burner to get?

Finally! Momma is lettin' me get a DVD Burner. Only i really don't know which to get. Uses: I make movies and will be making copies for use in a multitude of home DVD players. Back up. So I need a burner that will make movie DVDS that will play in a large percent of DVD players.

The topic says it all, but basically I have a Vantec Aeroflow and at 100% load, it runs at 47 degrees celcius, that is far too much for me, because in my city, during the months of June to August, it gets up to 40+ degrees celcius outside, and even hotter in here.

No, that's not a typpo, a friend has a computer dated 11/94 that lists a Z. I. F. local bus for the Motherboard. It goes on to describe it as allowing you to upgrade your system in the future as oppose to replacing it.

trying to install the printer on windows2000 but it says printer operation cannot continue due to lack of resources, the print subsystem is unavailable. Any thing i can do here. Thanks.

Problem with Lexmark Z33

Ok anytime I print anything if I run a program or load IE or open up My computer and any other window I get a message that the Lexmark printer is not communicating or lost connection. I am using the latest drivers.

Hey all Yes, i am going through dell for this as the company said they would pay for part of it so yeah hope that link works - i am thinking the STYLEPRO Series SDM-S91/B 19-inch Flat Panel LCD - just as i trust sony more then viewsonic or anyone else.

HELP With Dead HDD

My backup HDD at work has picked up some bad sectors and i can't even ghost from it. i just need 1 folder out of it though!!! is there any data recovery programs that could recover sector 0? thanks in advance (Have tried Scandisk).

USB modem disconnection problem

I have a USB ISDN modem (Hayes Accura), which I want to use with my laptop pc. Whenever I unplug the modem from the pc I get the famous blue screen, and I have to reboot the pc! I have downloaded the latest driver from Hayes, but it makes no difference.

I had another thread that was tied into this question, but at the time I thought it was another issue. The drive was NTFS and I changed it back to FAT32. Now I'm running into the same problem, but the drive was Fat32 already.

Hi. I'd like to know if relatively recent Athlon XP processors (like 2400+ and 2600+) can be used on ASUS A7M266. The page regarding that on ASUS' website hasn't been updated in a long while, so I don't know if 2200+ and up can be used on A7M266 after all (the page may merely have not been updated).

can i install 2 sound card in windows XP? i have AC'97 sound built-in mobo (A7V133) (currently disabled), and a Creative SoundBlaster 4. 1 digital. if i enable the builtin AC'97 one, will windows work with both? and how can i redirect which app to use which sound card? i want to watch a movie on TV-out using sound ...

for some odd reason, any game or prog sometimes causes massive slowdown on my athlon xp1700 system this includes all games and maya paint effects screensaver and running norton windoctor my pc randomly has problems-(not slow all the time) i used to have this installed vlatency_v019.

When I enable the USB 2. 0 controller on my motherboard (see sig) WindowsXP detects the controller as a Standard USB Controller instead of the USB 2. 0 ECHI Controller that Microsoft says it is supposed to be.

Trouble booting sometimes with one long beep

I believe it is the processor. I looked at it and it looks as it was overheated because of the material that was used in place of thermal paste. Symtoms: As soon as the power switch on the PS is turned on the system boots without pushing the button on the front of the case.
