A buddy is having problems with XP on his desktop. It has been having random crashes, won't install warcraft 3 (other games have worked fine), windows XP has install issues i. e. : the file zipfldf32.

RAID performance issues

hi I've not had a video driver install problem before. . . but the 43. 35 drivers left me wondering. i'm using win2kpro sp3. . . i clicked on the uninstall driver option. . . rebooted. system came back with generic vga adapter.

I modified my slotket recently and have managed to run a celeron 700 on a BX chipset slot1 mobo. Nothing special. But I have an old LX chipset slot1 mobo, wich did post but got stuck at the processor identification.

slave drive on primary ide wont show.

A little help please. I just ugraded my motherboard and now when it boots into windows xp pro, more than half the time the slave drive on the primary ide does not show up. If I reboot enough times it finally will be there.

If anyone is interested newegg has a 2x/1x pansonic dvd burner for $175. While it's not the fastest available it has gotten great reviews. Its in the mail. Question though. Is the recording speed comparable to cd? I mean will burning a 2 hour dvd at 2x take 1 hour?.

Printer Cartridge Refills good?? bad???

I am wondering if those do it your self refills are any good? It would be for a Lexmark 3200. The real carts are really expensive, and they dry out real fast. I don't want to waste my money on them if the refills work.

How to enable 640x480 on Windows Xp/Server 2003

When I installed the nVidia drivers it put me in 800*600 but I have the computer in question attached to a TV and I want to get the res back to 640 so it's easier to read. Anyone have a solution?.

I am having a problem with my Lite-on (distributed by Cendyne) DVD-ROM. Basically, the problem is that most of the time when I put a cd in the drive doesn't recognize that there is a cd in the drive.
