I have had an audigy, now I own an audigy 2, I have a sony infrared headephones with 5. 1 emulation, but only through digital (optical) spdif. When I plug the DVD to the headphones, the DTS or the Digital 5.

Can I mix 800 FSB with DDR2100?

Will this fry my ddr2100 ram with a p4 2. 8ghz 800fsb? Will it auto assign the correct ram speed and independantly leave the bus at 800? My MB model is P4P800. My new PC came without the ram (I want to use an old stick from my bud duhmez).

Another problem continuing from the one before. . . :x My HD is 20gb however when upgrading to Win2000 and converting to NTFS from FAT32 my HD is now 1. 99gb!! How do I get the 18gb space back?.

Video adapter problem - only 16 colours!!!

I am having trouble with my video card. I can only display 16 colours at 800x600 pixels. ;( I just got this PC from work. Before I formatted and reinstalled Windows 2000, the display wasd working fine at 1024x768 res.

Performance vs. Speed

im tossing up between getting an AMD XP 2800+/3000 or a Intel P4 2. 4G, which is better? i know that the athlon outperforms the faster P4 even though the clock speed isnt as fast but i want to know if speed over performance is best or vice versa?? thanks.

Looking for A good Web Cam

Hi all, I'm looking for a reliable, high quality web cam but one thats relatively inexpensive (say $100 US). I've done some looking and found that most web cams only offer 30 fps for video feed. Are there any that are higher, megapixel rating isn't as important as a higher frames per second rate.

Jerky performance after suspend with Wireless card

This is a feature design so that you wont need any drivers for the camera just plug and open explorer and copy your images right of the memory ...

i have an older MS force feedback pro joystick,gameport version. . . i know a lot of people seem to have trouble getting this stick to work in win2k/xp. . . i don't have that problem. . . it works just fine.

HDD's starting then stoping coming out of sleep running APM

Running 2k w/ APM support (no ACPI because of chipset issues) after the HDD's power down (after 10 min as I have set it) when they are started, they go into a 'loop' pattern of trying to start, then stop over and over.
