STOP errors at shut down / reboot on Windows XP [driver?]

HI All. Every Time I shut down or try to reboot, I get a STOP error (BSOD), and a writing memory dump. . . . This ONLY happens at shut down. The Windows report this error. . . suggests it may be a driver problem, but fails to identify WHICH driver is the cause.

Dual monitors on Asus Geforce4 Ti 4200?

Is this possible? I have an ASUS Geforce4 Ti4200 8X with Analog and DVI, does this make it possible to extend my desktop onto a second monitor? If so, how do I do it? Thanks. BTW, I have an LCD plugged into the DVI and want to hook my CRT monitor to the analog output.

agp not working in 4x on asus intel815 tusl2-c

I have asus intel815 tusl2-c with tualatin, 512 sdram, GeForce4 mx440 and a problem with agp not working in 4x (bios is set to 4x, but in drivers section it is 2x). My friend has a same motherboard with nvidia tnt 32mb, but his agp 4x is working.

Cd-rom error

Hey guys! Once again, I need help. I need to find out how to fix my cd-rom drive. I am receiving the error This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.

SATA Raid

This may be a stupid question, but if a motherboard has SATA RAID, can I hook up 2 IDE drives and make a RAID Array? Or do I have to get SATA hard drives? If so, can you buy converters or something? Seems like most of the motherboards have SATA Raid, but I am not sure were to get the drives.

Advantages Of AGP x8?

Welp, apprantly my MOBO and GFX card both support AGP x8 or 8x (whatever ;P) so i was wondering. . . . are there any noticable advantages in enabling this option in my mobo? -Acid.

OK, I need some recommendations here as I'm attempting to cobble together some inexpensive external storage via Firewire. I've found a few vendors of external Firewire chassis' that can hold up to 8 drives and connect via a cable to your main box.

Dual Monitors

Just a simple question. I have a Dell machine with onboard graphics, no AGP slot, 3 PCI slots. I need to add another monitor to the machine (just for office purposes so nothing that graphics intenses - just spreadsheets and the like).

RAM speeds

Basically I'm looking to buy some more RAM, and I've had my eye on the Corsair paired kit of DDR400. I also see RAM manufacturers selling RAM that is faster than DDR400, like PC3500 modules, etc. Are those for people who intend to overclock? Right now my setup is this: P4 2.

Scanner doesn't work under User account

Got standalone machine with Windows XP SP1 on it. There is also scanner UMAX Astra 2000P. The problem is that only Members of Power Users group or higher (Administrators etc. ) could work with that scanner.

USB 2.0 HD trouble

OK I am running W2KSP4 on a NF7-S AMD 1700 board with the latest NVidia drivers. The problem I am having is every time I plug in my KingWin USB 2. 0 portable drive and try to write something to it Windows tries to do the write and then tells me that the drive was unplugged.

lost system partition.

Lets see. I had win2k3 installed through a dual boot. The system(boot) partition was on a different drive then the os. I formatted the system partition and installed linux. I dont really care if I lose the os.
