Mouse scroll in IE6 causes browser to go 'back'

Strange mouse (or browser) behaviour in IE6 on a Dell 8300: whenever I scroll 'up' using the mousewheel the browser goes 'back' to previous web page. I'm using a MS Wireless Optical Mouse with Intellipoint 5.

I recently had to re-install windows and format my C drive. I had been using XP pro before, and had the same problem when I installed it then, but lost the link for the fix when i formatted. This is what happens.

I just got a new USB game pad (Saitek P2500) and when it is plugged in my computer doesn't turn off after a shut down. Instead, it gets to the point where it would turn off and instead does a partial reset.

I need a list of Nvidia and ATI cards formattted from worst to best. What I mean specifically is chipsets. I. E. GeForce 2 MX Radeon 7000 GeForce 3 MX Radeon 8000 etc. etc. Also what is better GeForce 2 GTS 64MB DDR or an ATI Radeon 7000 64MB?.

overclock with Nvidia's 5203 drivers.

When I used the 40xx version I had a reg file that unlocked the drivers so that I could overclock through them. But now I dont think that file will work, anyone know how I can do? Just picked up a FX59 and that card seriously rocks my house, but I want to test the limits a little.

Nice lookin' and performin' cooler. The other reviews I've seen say the same. The only thing I'd be concerned with is that it was tested on an XP2200+, which may (or may not) be a little cooler being that it's slower/older.

What is the main difference between the 5900 and the 5900 XT there are pretty close in price. What is the disadvantage if I go with the 5900XT instead of the full blown 5900? I want Nvidia so please don't suggest ATI.

Studio AV/DV Video Capture question

ok this card supports realtime capture to MPEG2 through the hardware and I can capture to that at the highest rez with no lost frames. Is it better to capture to uncompressed YUV2 AVI or capture to MPEG2 dvd quality? Thx.

ok I will be capturing old composite video from a Video 8 XR Sony Handycam CCD-TRV57. I noticed that this card I picked up can do realtime capture to dvd quality mpg2 @ 720 x 480 max or avi @ 720 x 480 max.

I recently purchased an external CDRW (with built-in USB controller). I am unable to get this writer operable under NT (service pack 6). After a few hours with tech support and installing other USB drivers from the web, the device in just not recognized by NT.

I am currently using Windows Xp and found a problem with my sound card. everytime i try to do something that involves a sound effect ( ie. the beep in Icq when typing a message) i hear crackles after crackles which are very disturbing.

problem reinstalling modem on widows 2000

have a modem that was working fine on windows 98. When I upgraded to windows 2000 it is not installed. When I go to install the modem and then click on have disk and then put in the correct file it says okay and then keeps prompting me for have disk again.

nForce PCI BUS locked?

Does anyone know if the nForce2 chipset has the PCI bus locked? I have the MSI nForce2 Delta-L and have the bus up around 205 for a 166 based chip. Seems to work ok, just want to know if I am frying my PCI devices.

Hello, It's my first time posting here. Don't hate me, but I'm a long time Mac user. Windows are great and I like both worlds. It has come to my attention that I need a small, portable laptop. Macs are good, but I really like the portability of the sub notebooks.
