I will have one digital internet connection to a hub in computer lab all on switches. I want the rest of the computers to go wireless. The building is too long for one wap, I did tests and 2 waps will cover the building.

Very impressed with my FX5900, let me explain ;-)

Bought a GeForce FX5900 (128MB) just before Christmas, and was highly impressed. At the time, i looked at the Radeon 9700 Pro (about £200), the 9800 Pro (£250 ish) or the FX5900 (£180). From wot i could see, the 5900 offers most bang for buck, and gives better performance then the 9700 Pro.

crazy < trying to build a computer. . . In short, my problem is that I bought all my parts (new retail) put my computer together and it doesn't work. I bought a Athlon XP 2600+ and put it on an MSI nforce2 IGP mother board, with 512mb Kingson RAM, in a case with a 350w power supply.

DDR2100 & DDR2700 living side by side?

Hi I have 3 blocks of DDR ram that I have trouble getting to work. 2 256mb pc2100 266mhz cl 2,5 and one 512mb pc2700 400mhz cl 3. They are from the same brand Elixir. They work fine if I use either the 2 256 blocks or the 512.

Hello there. . . I have set up a Windows 2003 server and since everything is working really slow on that box I nticed that all Devices (0 and 1) on both IDE Channels (Primary and Secondary) are currently set to PIO Mode.

Hello, I recently purchased an asus a7n8x-vm and Athlon Barton 2500+. I've been having some issues with the video card that I use. I have an AGP geforce4 ti-4200 and when I go into the device manager of Windows XP Pro it tells me the video card is a PCI device.

3DMark03 and DXDiag says that available video memory is 0mb and ALL hardware acceleration features are disabled!!. I have latest Catalyst drivers installed (6. 14. 10. 6414) and motherboard firmware are up-to-date (1008).

Hello, i am trying windows server 2003 for 32 bit (not 64) on my 32 bit amd, and the catalyst drivers detect my computer as Windows XP 64-bit. i stopped the driver install. i installed omega drivers and it is OK, but i want official drivers.

I upgraded to windows 2000 a little while ago and needed to reinstall all my drivers. Now my problem is my sound is not working and I assume the sound card needs to be reinstalled. How can I know what sound card is in my machine (without actually opening it up)?.
