It Keeps Freezing!

Every time I normally log on Windows XP, my computer freezes in about 6 minutes. How do I stop it from freezing? It started before I got the internet, and I don't use any disks, so I didn't think it was a virus, and it works fine in safe mode, so how do I fix it?.

Ok. I recently had Windows 98, but I deleted everything on my pc, and reinstalled Windows XP Home. Basically, starting from scratch all over again. During the setup of Windows XP I was asked would you like to convert FAT32 to NTFS ?.

How to install Windows XP on RAID 0 without a floppy drive?

I have seen a similar topic before right here but i can't find it with the new looks of the site!!! I want to install Windows XP Pro on a Promise Fasttrack s150 TX4 controller Raid, but as you know it needs the drivers (press F6 to install drives), but i don't have a floppy drive and Windows Setup can read drivers ...

XP forgets video settings on reboot

Ok, everytime I reboot my machine, my video settings get reset to 640x480x256. I then can change it to 1280x1024. But, the next time I reboot, back to the defaults. I have an ATI Radeon 9700, lastest drivers.

Hi, I'm going to buy a notebook soon and, from my research, I will either buy a Dell Inspiron 5150 or 8600. The only major difference between the systems (after some customizing) will be that the 5150 will have a 2.

Coversion from FAT32 to NTFS

I converted my slaved Western Digital 200GB from FAT32 to NTFS using Partition Magic 8. Now in the root directory I can only open 1/3 of the folders that appear to be there. I have tried deleting the inaccessible folders and this also does not work.

Keyboard problems...

Today was the 2nd time it happened, but I boot up the computer, and my keyboard works for a minute, then it doesn't work for 5 minutes, then it works again. I've already been in the Keyboard properties of the control panel but it says everything is running fine, and I can't find anything to change it to make it better.

i have a P4 2. 67 gigahertz comp with 512mb RAM and in need of a new graphics card (in preparation for doom 3 ). which of these cards 3 graphics cards will be best for my cpu: 9800pro/xt or x800 cards? any other good cards? or am i limited because of my cpu? thanks.

I just got a new computer today loaded with XP (had been on Windows 98) and I was trying to re-install our Printer/Scanner/Fax/Copier software but during the installation it stops and says it can't continue because the software doesn't have a Digital Signature.

hey guys i have 2 cards here. now which one is better at stock speeds. i heard the 9500pro is better because it has 8 pipes but the 9600xt has better clock here is my system specs: AMD XP 2500+ 1.

I've recently bought a new ECS desknote A980 : P4 2,4 fsb 533 512 MB DDR (333) ONBOARD GRAPHICS, SOUND , MODEM, LAN Everything was fine 'till i started to install the WINDOWS XP Professional. All went successully 'till the screen with INSTALLING DEVICES and a progress bar under it.

Major overclocking problem help

ok I got major problems. decided to bump vcore down to 1. 75 and run folding @home overnight to check stability. I woke up this morning to see that the system had rebooted and now i cannot access windows I just get a message that \windows\system32\system is corrupt or missing please insert cdrom and hit R to repair.

WIN 2000 PRO RESTARTS AFTER STARTUP

WHEN I TURN THE COMPUTER ON IT GOES PAST THE WIN 2000 PRO SCREEN THEN A BLUE SCREEN COMES ON FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN MY COMPUTER RESTARTS. I'VE TRIED SAFE MODE, VGA MODE, LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION, AND SO ON.
