Hi all, I´ve got 2 little problems. 1) My power saving mode (monitor power settings) does not work for some or the other reason, it does not matter what timeout I select or which option, and neither does my screen saver, it just doesn´t go on or off or whatever.

Hello all, new to this so I would be grateful of some help. I have a Compaq Armada M700 Laptop with Windows 2000 and a copy of XP Home. However I have no drivers for Audio or Video or internal modem even though I use an external Broadband modem.

Hi, i have an FX5900 and an older tv that supports only one AV channel. The problem is that when i connect the Tv-out card i can see only black an white screen, i`ve put the PAL-only tv format,and i have the TV-tool 9.

new to raid

as the topic says im haven't used raid before but wanna try so i need some help i;ve got the epox 8k3a+ mobo with a high point raid controller (i think) anyway im going to format my 2 HDD and then raid them together on raid 0 my raid driver disk is somewhere in a pile of junk but i don't have a floppy drive anyway ...

Added a second drive, now i cant delete files from either...

I just added a 8oG drive to my system, set it up as NTFS and assigned it to drive D. . system sees the drive, I can write files to it, I just cant del them. . explorer hangs and eventually I have to task mgr to end it?? Anyone got any ideas.

hey, my friend bought a Radeon 9550 128mb gfx card and i beleive opengl is whats not working. We've tried switchin ram and what not but it still brings up a error reading that the graphics card stopped responding to the graphics drivers command.

17mb of Bad sectors on drive replace?

I have a 120gb Maxtor drive and recently after a CD burn failed I checked the drive for bad sectors. Upon chkdsk completion the log displayed about 17mb in bad sectors. The other volumes are not displaying any bad sectors (yet).

videocard problem (still)

Still having trouble booting my Compaq after I install the drivers for the videocard (or let Windows 2000 install them for me); original post was #143271. Sampson suggested I ensure that the BIOS specifies a boot default to AGP (not PCI).
