AverMedia TV 98 and XP problems

I've just recently upgraded my system from 98SE to XP Pro. Now my Avermedia card and XP aren't getting along. It no longer runs! Anyone have suggestions on what drivers I need or what procedure I need to follow to get it running again? Thanks.

GeFroce 6600gt agp problem

Hi, I just got the Geforce 6600gt agp card, and everytime i go to open a game, the intro plays ok, then the screen shuts off and the computer goes into safe mode. I have update the drivers and my bios (using asus a7n8x) and it still hasn't helped.

WIERD OPTICAL MOUSE PROBLEM

Hey Everybody, I dont know if im just not that familiar with common optical mouse problems or whether i discoverd a new one,BUT my little black Microsoft Optical Mouse is starting to act wierd. The funnt thing is the problem i have now is the same problem i had before i removed the ANNOYING mouse pad.

Cannot uninstall SCSI/RAID Host Controller

I installed some dvd burning software a while back and it tried to install a scsi/raid host controller. When it did, I got a BSOD and the computer restarted. Upon restarting it asked to install the device.

BLUE SREEN OF DEATH UNDER SP2

Ok to start with i have 2 operating systems installed, both windows xp professional, but 1 with sp2 and one with no sp installed. When I play Half Life 2 or CS:source on the 1 without service pack installed, after about 30mins of playing the game freezes for a sec then just crashes to the desktop.

In the past my drives had worked fine. . My burner went out so I bought a new one: the Memorex 52MAXX 3252AJ. After installing that drive I booted up my computer and drivers for both drives were not properly loaded windows now reports.

God, this is embarrasing. Everyone should know this but I seem to have completely forgotten how to fix it. So, I wanted to switch to a new harddrive. Now when booting, I get the message 'Floppy disk(s) fail (40)'.

I went and spent £114 on this card, four weeks later in turn my computer on and what do I find, pinks lines on my screen, I don't really know if it’s the cards it’s self or something else doing it, but it’s a start.

I have the neo2 plat. board w/ a 160 Hitachi SATA drive on it, and i also have a 20 gig. hd (IDE) that has about 10 gigs of info on it that i need on the SATA drive. What do I do? Currently the only device on an IDE is a DVD drive, which is on primary IDE as master.

Im having a HUGE problem with my dvd rom drive. I am using a Samsung SD-616F. But for some reason it can't read ANY DVD's but more importantly any DVD-Rom discs like the Half Life 2 collectors edition disc.

Since installing a Radeon 9600XT my system has no sound. I reinstalled the driver for my Soundblaster Audigy + still have no sound. has anyone else seen a problem with these devices being used on the same system? I'm at my wits' end.
