Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knew where to find a BIOS update for Intel 845GV v1. X Motherboard? any help would be appreciated! i have looked on many sites but cannot find it. if there is one to be found.

That's what my computer said at startup, and it wouldn't go any further. However, if I ran the system restore (which took about 2 hours, and had about 150 popups that said something was missing when copying files) everything ran fine.

hey guys i recently put together a new system. AMD3200+ Asus A8V deluxe motherboard 1gig pqi ram ATI 9800 pro graphics card Ok, all went well at first, i loaded windows xp pro got the net working etc then realised i hadent connected the speacker plugs to the motherboard.

I just got winamp and I've been trying to adjust the media keys to winamp but my 'media' key won't work. I looked in help and it said just to press it and when I press it nothing happens, no letters come up, the only thing that happens is the er.

I have a Compaq, Presario SR1000Z. I was going to get either the eVGA e-GeForce™ 6200 Video Card (256A8N327DX) or the EVGA e-GeForce 6600 Graphics Card (256P2N369DX) each are $200 USD, but the 6600 is a PCI-Express, and the top is a AMD 8x.

I have an old Pentium MMX 200 (MoBo J-Mark 571B, Award Bios 4. 51 SiS 5571 Chipset) running Windows XP Pro. Every time I start up the PC, Windows installs new drivers for my secondary IDE channel, and the 2 CDROM drives on it.

I am using a CCD-TR86 sony handycam to record video of me and my friends for a project and ALL I WANT TO DO IS GET THE F%$&*# VIDEO ONTO MY COMPUTER. Everywhere i go they tell me something different and every program i either buy or download says allows you to capture any video format and convert it to AVI or MPEG.

I Recently boaught an AMD Sempron 2400+. . . I installed it, and everything was fine until I noticed that in windows the processer is stuck at 995-1000 MHz. . . I know that this is way to low, it should be (according to the box) around 1.

Video Card Load Temperatures

I downloaded RivaTuner today and recorded my GPU's temperature during load while playing CS. At idle it stays below 50C, ~47C usually, with ambient being a couple degrees lower. I checked it after about an hour and my GPU's temp.

Hello, I have a laptop running Windows XP w/SP2. I have just got a Mentor PCMCIA 2. 0 USB PCMCIA and a usb enclosure for a pioneer 108 dvd-rw. At one point the DVD-RW was picked up and I could read the cds but it was very very slow, even to respond.

I'm not sure what happened but all of a sudden my OS (XP Pro) can't seem to find either my DVD player or the CD burner. Yellow exclamation marks next to each in the Device Mangler with the explanation, Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware.
