? I am looking for a PlusTek OpticPro 4800P Windows 2000 Pro Driver that actually works (and uninstals without me having to scour my system files and registry). Any news? ps - the mustek site is a mustake - they don't work either.

secondary HDD comes up as UNFORMATTED

Windows XP Home on a 40gig hdd is corrupted, so i hooked up a 120gig hdd as rpimary master and installed windows on it. the file format is FAT32 on the two Hdd's. when i hooked up the 40gig to transfer files to the 120gig it shows as ROW partition.

AHHH!! Okay. . . so my hard drive is corrupt. . . this part I know. . . and I did read somewhere about a program that I can download to do my own data recovery. . . problem is. . . the hard drive keeps shutting my system down.

First of all. I've assembled new system: Intel D915GAV/P4 3,0 GHz HT/256 DDR Kingston x2/Maxtor SATA 120 Gb/300W Power Master Installed XP Prof SP2 - everything worked just fine, while I've been using onboard video.

Hi! New user, 1st post. I've just purchased an Intel D915PBL MB and am wondering about this ALTERNATE POWER CONNECTOR. I have a 450 Watt PSU and it doesn't have one of these connectors. Can I simply use one of the IDE power connectors? It has a 20-pin power source, but I have a 20-pin to 24-pin adapter.

TYAN Trinity I845 (S2090), take pity on an idiot!!!

I recently flashed my bios on my TYAN Trinity i845 (S2090) and rebooted my system to discover i had flashed it with the bios for Trinity i845E (yes fool i know). Now i can't boot up the system apart from the bios info at the top of the screen.

I have to get a new pc and install Windows NT 4. 0 sp6 to prolong the lifespan of an medical imaging workstation app. It seems very hard to find a new motherboard/chipset suporting NT, I have not found any NT drivers for intel chipsets.

Hello, i just bought a cheap mobo for my sister (ECS KM400-M2) i put everything together and started it up. . i usually use a floppy to format the drive, then i go to install windows 98 and then windows xp from there.

I have an old packard bell (1998) and it was just fine until we moved & I think the movers played football with it. My pc guy where I used to live said to check inside but didnt remember how he opened it when he gave my an extra hard drive for just this kind of emergency.

Can anybody help me? give me suggestions? Two days ago my computer desktop, Gateway 333c was fine, then all of the sudden the keyboard and mouse froze, I had to just power off the PC because it was completely frozen.

We had a power outage about a week ago. My Toshiba laptop was fine (I have a surge suppressor). Then there was a brief outage on Saturday. That night I turned my puter on. It was fine. It was on for a couple of hours, as I never ended up using it (it was never on standby).
