Keyboard does not respond during boot

My computer does not respond to keyboard input during boot. It responds before boot (during the POST and in the CMOS setup menu). It responds after, once Windows starts. But not in between (in the Windows boot menu, or when prompted to press a key for CD boot).

Does everything look compatible for a PC build out of this list of components? Got two of these off eBay for 45 bucks each Originally was going to go with one 6800GT but for 105 bucks shipped, an SLi setup is too cool not to have in my Antec SuperLanboy with heavy UV mods.

I just bought a Logitech QuickCam IM and installed all the software on my laptop. Then I start getting Blue Screens of death. It keeps telling me to install the newest Drivers,(which I have) or dumb the soundcard down, (which I have also).

Hello I have a Kensington Pc Camera Video cam but unfornuately it will only run in windows 98 or 95. I have Windows xp2002 is it posible to some how get the drivers so it will run on my 2002. ty maee.

Hi all, I am experiencing problems for my computer. Last night, I was using my computer, all of a sudden it froze so I had no other options but to just shutdown the computer (pressing pwr button). . When I restarted the comp, THE BLUE SCREEN APPEARS.

Okay, ill cut the bs to case. I just bought new videocard since i had last 32MB inside built and i were tired for it, now i have 9550SE but problem is that when i start playing, example: WoW, Lineage 2, EnemyTerritory, GroundControl 2 so on.

Monitor In Power Save Mode.

My daughter turned her computer off and when she returned, turned it back on only to see the following message on her monitor: Monitor is in power save mode activate using pc. What's up. Her pc won't post at all.

I recently bought an intel D915PBL motherboard and a new Pent 4 630 processor which has HT. i have an my old video card an ATI FX5500 128mb card. The machine will not recognise this video card, i think.

Looking for old 3DFX tools software for my Voodoo3

I just threw in my ghetto Voodoo3 card so I can play Final Fantasy VII after forever, found the best 3rd party drivers for WinXP, but can't seem to find the 3DFX tools so I can tweak the setting. Used to use something I think was called 3DFX Underground Tools that let me overclock and everything.

Problems with Nvidia GeForce MX4000

I am not a computer pro here, but I know a fair amount and would love any help I can get. Here is the problem: I have installed my Nvidia GeForce MX4000 (PCI slot) and in the manual it says Turn off computer, put in the card, plug monitor into card, turn computer on.

Freezing when I connect USB

Have a strange problem here. I just reinstalled XP and reformatted my HDD's and this is what I'm getting: I plugged in my USB printer to install it and my PC froze. So I hit reset and everything worked fine.

Whenever I try to type some certain letters, it will add more. Like when I try to type E it will generally type WE. A few other keys are like this as well. Any suggestions? And yes, I already tried cleaning out the keyboard.

hi, i need help. i tried to install windows xp on my sata hard drive. i did the F6 thing at the begining of the install but the files i copied wernt recognized by windows xp setup. i copied three files, a secutrity catalog, a system file, and a setup information file.

Windows XP Fails to see Diamond modem

I have a SupraExpress 56i Pro Sup2560 modem from Diamond multimedia. I am trying to install it under Windows XP. Although I have an Install disc it only appears to have drivers for Windows NT4 and Windows 95 / 98.

Found New Hardware

Hey all, I just reformatted and reinstalled XP on my system, and I reinstalled my video card and installed the drivers from the cd as usual. Then I restart and it again tells me I have found new hardware (video controller) I installed the newest drivers from Nvidia (Geforce MX4000) but the same thing happens.
