Gigabyte board. wont pick up 2 cd roms ..HELP

Hello there forum members, I have a Gygabyte K7 triton board. every time I go to install my second cd rom windows wont start up it freezes, not sure if its the IDE connection or windows. One cd rom at a time is ok , picks them both up ,but when I connect both together , pc windows wont start up, freezes on start up.

I have a home network with Windows XP Home, and two Windows 98 SE systems. I can share disks between them fine. I have set them up with Netbeui protocol. Problem is when I take my work Win2k Pro laptop and try to get on my home network to access shared disks.

Netscape Connect keeps losing connection

I use Netscape Connect (used to be Wal-Mart Connect) and it keeps losing the connection. It starts up normally and everything but after maybe somewhere aroung 20 minutes it shuts down. I can't figure out what the problem is! Someone please help! It gets really annoying!.

I have a ATI Radeon x1300 PCI express (x16) graphix card; 450MHz VPU - 256MB GDDR-2 memory at 533MHz - shader model 3. 0 - VGA, DVI-I, I went into system bios and deactivated the old card. installed the card and drivers correctly, now however the computer wont start up when i shut down or restart normaly.

Desperately need help-my Compaq Presario will not shut down with new graphix car

My Compaq Presario was working fine until i recently installed my new ATI 256MB Radeon X1300 PCI graphix card. Now whenever I shut down the computer or restart, it will lock up when it is rebooting, and the only way to get my computer working again is to manually shut it down (holding the shut down button).

Error Code 88780078 Bad Direct sound driver ............NIGHTMARE

For any one who has had a error code 88780078 bad direct sound driver ect. . . . . . and lost sound on their comp, if you can return to a restore date / time, you may find it one way of rectifying the problem without having to find, uninstall then re install drivers.

Logitech QuickCam software is blocking web browsers

Problem description: ONLY I installed yesterday was Logitech QuickCam (version 9. 5 for QuickCam 5000). It was full install i. e. drivers + additional programs. After the installation both web browsers (I'm using IE and FireFox) stopped open web pages! There is no delay during page loading.

Screen Resolution and Driver Update

1) I use a Compaq 7550 monitor, and the default screen resolution is 1024 x 768. However, I do have the option of increasing it to the maximum 1600 x 1200. If I do that, will I damage my monitor? 2) I use a VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP video card, and need to know where I should go to update my older drivers.

I bought the Sims 2 and installed two expansions on it. Whenever I try to play it, it takes a long time to start up and load familys. Sometimes during the game it becomes very slow and lags or it just freezes up complety.

Only one monitor goes into power save mode in dual moniter setup.

As the topic states I am having problems with the power save feature on my dual monitor setup. The first monitor will shut off ahile the second monitor stays on and has a black screen. I have two video cards.
