Another drive not formatted error...

Any drive hooked up causes the error 'the disk in drive x is not formatted. Would you like to format it now?' Thing is, the drives are fine. Doesn't matter if there is information on them or not. Always the same result with any mp3 player, thumb drive, camera etc.

Hi, For some reasons now when I am using my pendrive, I am getting the message The disk in drive E is not formatted - Do you want to format it now. . . I believe that there is a problem with my pendrive.

not entirely sure how this went about so sorry about the briefness. my second computer has a cdrw and a dvdrw. i turned it off as normal as any other time and next time i logged on both drives had power but the drives and the computer wernt recognising each other.

replacing on-board video with PCI video card

I have an HP Pavillion 705 and I can't get any video. I tried with multiple monitors including a new one. After concluding the on-board video is bad, I bought a new PCI video card and put it in. But, without working video, I can't disable the on-board video and enable the new card.

I recently got a hp evo d310 and added 128 mb more RAM to go along with the 256 that was already in there, when i turned it on nothing appeared on the monitor and it beeped at me after doing so, i then removed the extra RAM and tryed to start it with only the RAM that it came with, but again the computer gave me on ...

I currently have the Pentium D dual core 920 (2 x 2. 8GHz 4MB cache, 65nm, 800MHz BUS). I am about to receive a Core 2 Duo E6300 (2 x 1. 8GHz 2MB cache, 65nm, 1066MHz BUS). I wondering which is going to be faster as I can just pop either chip in my board.

HOT Vio Sony Notebook, took precautions prior

My VIO Sony Notebook has ALWAYS run hot ! I leave the notebook on top of a cookie rack (yes, from my kitchen) - not HOT now, but still warm. Now = Display is out !!!! Any idea if problem above relates to display Sony Tech Support was absolutely no help Best Buy (where purchased) likewise no help on this topic.
