ANY HELP? Capture DV Display Hard Drive RPM wrong

I recently just bought a Maxtor 7500RPM 300GB in order to capture DV from pinnicle studio 8. 8. . . but when I tried to capture the Read and write rate is only 2000+ instead of 20000+ I have another 40g HD and the read and write rate is normal.

BSOD screen palying games

Hi, everyone I have a little trouble with my PC, Then i play games like a NFS:Carbon demo or Nfs:Underground 2 i get a BSOD screen with text STOP: 0x0000007F (0x0000000D, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) I got only this screen playing games, but playing Counter-strike all works fine.

Prevent drives from spinning up?

I have a 500 gb external backup WD-Book hardrive attached to my system. The drive spins down after a period of inactivity. When I open up programs like photoshop or even my computer the drive spins up, I'm guessing to display me available space on the drive.

btw, this is my first post ever I'm having serious trouble with my new connect3d radeon x850 pro. After installing the card and booting up my computer, my monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 710T) gets no signal from the card, it just stays black.

MOUSE PROBLEMS

I WAS WORKING ON MY KIDS COMPUTER TRYING TO SETUP NETWORKING AND THE MOUSE WAS WORKING JUST FINE BUT NOW IT WONT. I EVEN TOOK THE MOUSE FROM MY COMPUTER AND PLUGGED IT IN AND IT STILL WONT WORK EVEN THOUGH IT WORKS ON MINE.

HP 3100 printer sharing on home network

I inherited a HP Laserjet 3100 and cannot get it to work on my home network. It works fine from the PC to which it is directly connected. The operating system of that PC is Windows Me. I have two laptops running Windows XP; they are connected to the network via a Linksys wireless access point.

just hear beep sound in my laptop ,when i go to the volume control it says - Volume Control - There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Add Hardware.

Compaq Presario 2266 compatible with Win XP Pro?

I was wondering if there was a fighting chance that an old Compaq Presario 2266 with a Cyrix 6x86MX processor can run Windows XP Pro SP2. I know the min. requirements according to Microsoft is a 233 Mhz processor but i don't know if a 6x86mx is slower or faster.

Hello, My mom has an IBM A30 laptop and the sound does not seem to be working any longer. The speakers were properly connected, I removed them and attached them to my PC and they worked fine. But when I reconnect them to the laptop, there is no sound.
